Position Reporting:

This position is part of Sunday Cool – Admin Department reporting to the VP/Chief of Staff.

Work Schedule:  

Monday – Friday: 8:30am – 5:00pm [40 hours/week].  

Overtime may be required based on workload and production demands. This position will be likely to have overtime or weekend work during the peak of busy season, running May-July.

Compensation:

Starting at $70,000 or depends on experience

Areas of Responsibility include but are not limited to:

  • Oversee, refine, and execute employee standards and procedures, using and improving HR existing and recommended systems and processes.
  • Maintain and enhance employee benefits programs, including compensation, health insurance, expenses, vacation, and other personnel packages.
  • Assist with recruitment efforts, and prepare employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation.
  • Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable HR federal and state requirements, conducting investigations, and maintaining records.
  • Submit bi-weekly reports for Worker’s Compensation and 401K.
  • Identify and recommend areas of improvement to internal standard operating procedures, including team restructuring and engagement.
  • Oversee time clock errors and work with managers to adjust issues.
  • Facilitate and approve payroll for processing bi-weekly.

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:

  • Support departments inthe development and delivery of strategic HR plans to fit with the overall business direction
  • Plan, monitor, and appraise HR activities by scheduling management conferences with employees, hearing and resolving employee grievances, training managers to coach and discipline employees, and counseling employees and supervisors
  • Champion the on boarding process, ensuring the process is up to date and of high quality, providing clarity and connection for all employees and their role in relation to the overall vision
  • Develop targeted email templates for specific audience segments.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Maintain managementguidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies andprocedures
  • Administer and facilitate Family and Medical Leave Act
  • Build strong relationships with external suppliers, fostering trust and promoting collaboration
  • Address Unemployment claims with the Department of Revenue
  • Handle confidential matters with discretion

Skills and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree inhuman resources or related area
  • 3+ years in human resources or recruitment
  • Exceptional communication skills, writing skills, interpersonal skills, and ethical mindset
  • Adept to problem-solving and conflict resolution
  • Extensive knowledge of HR policies and systems
  • Familiarity with HR software and working knowledge of MS Suite
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCPCertified

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in HR
  • Detail-oriented and organizational nature
  • Experience working with ADP a plus
  • Understanding federalHR laws

Physical Requirements:  

This position requires the employee to sit for extended periods of timeand work both independently and in a team environment.
