Understanding Plastisol Ink
Now, what exactly is Plastisol ink? Well, it's a screen printing ink composed of two main ingredients: PVC resin and plasticizer.
When printed on a shirt, Plastisol ink sits on top of the fabric. While Plastisol is widely used due to its vibrant colors and ease of application, it does have some drawbacks.
Over time, it can fade, crack, or even peel, which can be quite disappointing when you're looking for long-lasting quality.
The Magic of Water-Based Ink
But fear not, my friend, because Water-Based Ink is here to save the day!
Unlike Plastisol ink, Water-Based Ink works in a completely different way. Rather than sitting on top of the fabric, it seeps into the garment and dyes it from within.
This unique characteristic allows the ink to become one with the shirt, resulting in a design that feels incredibly soft to the touch.
But that's not all – the magic of Water-Based Ink extends beyond its superior comfort!
You see, because Water-Based Ink permeates the fabric, it forms a bond that lasts longer compared to Plastisol ink.
This means your favorite designs won't crack or peel away, even after numerous washes. So, if you're looking for a printing technique that guarantees longevity and maintains the integrity of your design, Water-Based Ink is the way to go!
