Position Reporting: Part of the Sunday Cool Executive Team, reporting to the VP of Sales & Marketing
Work Schedule:
Monday – Friday: 8:30am-5:00pm (40 hours/week). Overtime or weekend work may be required during the peak season (May to July).
Compensation:
Annual salary of $125,000 plus an override bonus of 15 basis points of gross sales, contingent on meeting monthly goals.

Areas of Responsibility:
The Revenue Operations Director will lead the development and execution of a comprehensive revenue operations strategy to optimize performance across sales, marketing, and customer success. This individual will be responsible for aligning departmental efforts to achieve sustained revenue growth by implementing scalable processes, harnessing marketing automation, leveraging data-driven insights, and fostering collaboration among teams. A vital aspect of this role will be the continuous monitoring and improvement of operational efficiency, ensuring that customer experiences are optimized and all revenue streams are maximized.
The Revenue Operations Director must possess a strategic mindset to navigate the challenges of a fast-paced and evolving market, driving sustainable growth and maintaining a high level of accountability within the organization. This role requires cross-functional leadership, process design, and the ability to mentor teams, particularly the Sales Manager, to improve overall performance. Collaboration with various departments will ensure the seamless integration of revenue initiatives across the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Revenue Operations Strategy: Develop and execute a holistic, data-driven revenue operations strategy that aligns with company goals, focuses on operational efficiency, and enhances the customer experience across all departments.
- Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams across sales, marketing, and customer success, fostering a results-oriented, collaborative culture. Work closely with the Sales Manager to optimize team performance and accountability.
- Process Optimization: Design, refine, and implement scalable processes to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness across departments, ensuring that workflows are aligned with long-term growth strategies.
- CRM & Technology Management: Oversee the optimization and integration of CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot) and other revenue-related technologies, ensuring these tools support proactive selling, lead generation, and streamlined customer success management.
- MarketResearch & Insights: Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify emerging trends, customer preferences, and new business opportunities. Use these insights to inform the development of targeted growth strategies and to identify potential new markets for expansion.
- Data Analysis& Reporting: Monitor KPIs to track progress toward revenue goals.Provide regular, data-driven insights and recommendations to the executive team, ensuring that all decisions are informed by comprehensive analysis.
- CustomerEngagement & Retention: Create and implement strategies that enhance customer engagement, satisfaction, and retention. Collaborate with the Sales andCustomer Success teams to understand and address customer pain points and improve service delivery.
- Sales &Marketing Alignment: Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to align their efforts, ensuring that marketing-qualified leads (MQLs) are efficiently converted to sales-qualified leads (SQLs) and that sales activities directly contribute to revenue growth.
- HarnessingMarketing Automation: Leverage marketing automation through HubSpot to build upon the work that has begun to streamline lead generation/nurturing, customer communications, and campaign execution. Working with the BI and IT team to ensure that automation workflows are integrated with CRM systems and aligned with sales and marketing objectives to improve efficiency and scalability.
- ExpansionStrategy: Identify and evaluate potential new markets for expansion, developing comprehensive market entry strategies that ensure successful launches.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of revenue growth initiatives.
- Cross-DepartmentCollaboration: Work closely with other departments, including Product Development, to ensure that all revenue initiatives are seamlessly integrated into the company's broader strategy and operational framework.
- Client &Partner Relationships: Build and nurture strong relationships with existing and potential clients, partners, and industry influencers to drive long-term business growth and foster collaborative opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar role.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret market trends and data.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, manage conflicts, and foster collaboration.
- Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot) and digital marketing strategies.
- Strategic thinker with a demonstrated track record of driving revenue growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

During the first 90 days we will be equipping you with the necessary resources and training you specifically for the above position. Sunday Cool has a 90-day probationary period for all new employees, which includes a 30, 60 & 90-day feedback meeting with your direct leadership team to gain helpful insight, glean new perspectives, discuss positive performance, and address any areas needing improvement. Before the conclusion of your probationary period, you will be tested on the Art Department-provided handbook, policies and procedures, as well as products to qualify you. All staff artists are required to pass with a 95% or above to qualify as an employee of Sunday Cool. Sunday Cool, LLC reserves the right to terminate the employment of any employee at any time without notice and without payment in lieu of notice, subject to the laws of the State of Florida.
We pay biweekly (Every other week) on Fridays. Pay is based on eighty standard hours per pay period and Sunday Cool has 26 pay periods/year.
